THE BRIEF

The design challenge.

Show how a fictional social-first clothing label could move beyond saved posts and direct-message ordering into a consistent, browsable store. The design needed to express a strong visual identity while keeping a six-piece collection easy to understand and shop.

APPROACH

The creative direction.

  • Created a fictional brand direction using cobalt, lime, off-white and strong typography, with a different tone from the premium and ethnic-wear concept stores.
  • Organized a compact capsule into Tops, Bottoms and Layers so visitors can browse by the kind of piece they need.
  • Kept the collection close to the brand introduction and used a lookbook section to connect product discovery with the label's visual mood.
  • Built the demo around the same practical questions as a real store: product details, fit, size selection, quantity and shopping bag contents.

FEATURES

Explore the experience.

  • Responsive homepage with an expressive drop introduction and a clearly labeled concept collection.
  • Collection filters, accessible product controls and six individual product-detail views.
  • Size selection, sample size guide, quantity controls and a shopping bag with removal and subtotal.
  • Demo checkout confirmation that collects no payment and creates no real order.
  • Visible concept labels and direct links to NivoRaq Studio for visitors who want a similar store.

DECISIONS

The decisions behind it.

  • Used large type and a restrained three-colour identity to give a small catalogue a recognizable point of view.
  • Chose native buttons and category filters rather than a decorative social feed, keeping the collection usable without depending on a third-party embed.
  • Designed a two-column product grid on mobile so visitors can compare pieces without excessive scrolling; the individual product view provides the detail.
  • Used clear static drop labels rather than invented countdowns, scarcity claims, ratings or testimonials.
  • Kept NivoRaq attribution and the concept status visible throughout the experience.

LIMITATIONS

What this concept demonstrates.

  • AFTERHOURS is a fictional concept label, not a commissioned client store or a merchant accepting orders.
  • Prices, garment descriptions, size guidance, care information and policy text are illustrative samples.
  • Fashion imagery is generated for demonstration and does not represent manufactured stock.
  • The shopping flow has no live inventory, payment gateway, shipping service or order-fulfilment integration.
  • No sales, conversion improvements, customer feedback or business outcomes are claimed.
